Q: What the hell is all this stuff?
A: You're looking at the polchive, an archive of Interpol-inspired wallpapers, AOL Icons, artwork and so forth.
 
Q: Who designed, created etc. these wallpapers?
A: They were designed by me, chavo! You can contact me at:! chavo@chavo.net
 
Q: How can I install a wallpaper?
A: If you are a PC User and you have Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows XP, Read on!
  • Select your wallpaper (click the thumbnail of the piece you like)
  • The wallpaper will launch in a new window (at full size)
  • With your mouse, use the right button to click the image. Select "Set As Wallpaper" from the menu
  • Hey Presto! Your desktop wallpaper is now installed!
 
Q: You have AIM/AOL Icons! How do I install them???
A: AIM is AOL Instant Messenger. The icons on this site can be used as "Buddy Icons" within the instant messenging tools provided by Trillian and AOL. For more information on setting up a Buddy Icon in AOL click here.
 

Q: Can I use your wallpaper to make my own Interpol art?
A: I can't really stop you can I? If you do get inspired or decide to use an element from my work, please let me know. The Internet is such a lawless place.
 
Q: Are these OFFICIAL wallpapers? Aren't you just ripping Interpol off?
A Don't be a dumbass. I'm not making any money from these, and I'm certainly not claiming to be official! I am using a facilimile of the band's logo (just like any kid would draw on their school-bag) this is my way of appeciating the band and giving a little back to the Internet community.
 
Q: I've done some great Interpol art too - could you host it for me?
A: No, Sorry, I cannot do this. I get this sort of question quite a lot. I encourage as many artists or wanna-be wallpaper makers to get some free webspace and put up a site of their own. I'll certainly add you to my links list!
